Being located in New Sanic Colony in Fatehgarh is interesting because even though our name mentions Gandhidham, this is where we actually do the work. Mid India Power And Steel Ltd. is a place where we just get down to business. The UP weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially when you are working with power equipment and heavy steel. We are tucked away in a spot that isn't too hard to find if you know the area. There’s always something to fix or move. We aren't really into big speeches or fancy logos. We just show up and do what needs doing. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the details. Some of the guys have been here since we started. We have a routine that works for us. The colony is usually quiet until our machines start up. We try to be good neighbors, though. Dealing with steel is heavy work, so by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever isn't busy. It’s a practical setup. We handle the power side of things just as much as the metal. It’s a lot to keep track of, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. Most days go by fast because there is always a backlog of work to get through.
