Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre

Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre is located in Avadhpuri, right off the G T Road. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something happening right outside the gates. The G T Road is never quiet, so there’s a constant hum of traffic that we’ve all just gotten used to. The school itself is a sturdy building that’s seen a lot of students come and go over the years. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. The stairs are worn down a little in the middle from all the feet walking up and down. We have a small area where parents wait, and it’s usually crowded with people talking or checking their phones. The classrooms are simple—desks, chairs, and a board. Nothing too fancy. We have some plants in pots near the entrance, but they struggle a bit in the heat. The office is always full of files and paperwork piled high on the desks. It’s not a corporate office; it’s a place where people are actually working. During the monsoon, the entrance can get a bit flooded, so we have to put out bricks for people to step on. It’s just a regular school in a regular part of town. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Most of us have been here for a while and we just like the routine of the day starting and ending on the G T Road with our neighbors.
