Carver Public School

Carver Public School is located in the Awas Vikas-3 area of Kalyanpur. We are very close to the Axis Bank ATM, which serves as a landmark for most people trying to find us. This is a residential neighborhood, so the streets around the school are filled with houses and small local shops. Our building fits right into the street, and it isn't very large. We have a small entrance where parents drop off their children on motorcycles or in rickshaws every morning. The classrooms are arranged across a couple of floors, and the space is used quite tightly. We have a small area that serves as a playground, but it isn't much more than a paved courtyard. The staff consists of people who mostly live in the Kalyanpur or nearby areas. We have a very practical approach to things here. The desks are simple, the walls have some charts made by the students, and the office is usually a bit cluttered with paperwork. There is no corporate feeling here at all. It feels more like a big family house that has been turned into a place for learning. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, and we often have to close the windows to keep the water out. It is just a regular school trying to do its part in a busy corner of the city.
