Dastak Classes

If you are driving down Petrol Pump Road in Vikash Nagar, you might notice our sign. Dastak Classes is situated right near Lucky Restaurants. Sometimes the smell of the food cooking next door drifts into the classrooms, which makes everyone pretty hungry by the end of the day. Our building in Kanpur has its own little problems, like the lights that flicker if we turn too many things on at once. We have a couple of big rooms where we hold our sessions. The desks are those sturdy, old-fashioned ones that have been around forever. There isn't a fancy lobby or a waiting room here. You just walk through the door and you are right in the middle of where the work happens. We spend most of our time organizing notes and talking to the students. It’s a busy place. Kanpur is a fast city, and we try to keep up with the pace of things. We don't have any marketing people or a sales team. Most people find out about us because a neighbor or a friend told them we were here. We prefer it that way because it keeps everything personal. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up near the petrol pump and the horns are loud, but we just keep the windows shut and carry on with the work. We keep the water cooler full and the chalk ready.
