Chauhan English Classes Xi & Xii

The class is tucked away in Juhi Colony, specifically at 215/2. It’s a bit quieter here than the main markets, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on grammar and literature for the XI and XII students. Juhi Lal Colony has its own rhythm. Usually, the mornings are slow, and then things pick up once the school day ends. We’ve got a simple room with some benches and a whiteboard that’s seen better days. The light isn’t always the best, but we make it work. Most of the kids live nearby and just walk or cycle over. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks during the lessons, which can be a bit of a distraction, but everyone just laughs it off. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that, just some ceiling fans that rattle a bit. We spend a lot of time correcting notebooks and going over the same chapters until they stick. It’s hard work for the students, especially with the board exams looming. We try to keep things organized, but there's always a stack of papers somewhere that needs sorting. Living and working in Kanpur means dealing with the heat and the occasional power cut, so we just keep some extra water around. It’s a steady life here in the colony, just teaching English day after day to whoever shows up ready to learn. Most of the time we stay late to finish marking.
