Albsan Agroforestry Private Limited is located over in Kanpur, specifically in the M Block of Kakadeo. Our address is 117/818 and we have been operating from here for a while. Agroforestry is what we focus on, so a lot of our time is spent thinking about trees and how they fit into the local farming landscape. Kanpur is a big place but Kakadeo has its own vibe, mostly known for being a hub for students and small businesses. We are tucked in there among the busy streets and shops. Our daily work involves a lot of planning and coordinating because trees take a long time to grow and you have to be patient with them. It is not like other businesses where things happen overnight. We deal with the soil and the saplings and try to make sure everything is handled right. The office is usually filled with papers and maps of where things are being planted. We do not use any fancy words to describe what we do. It is just about planting and managing wood and crops together. Sometimes we are out in the field and other times we are sitting in the office in 208019 making sure the records are straight. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just do what we can to keep the business going.
