Smart Impex

If you are near the old feebooth in Valapattanam, you will find us at Smart Impex. We have been in this spot for quite a bit now. Valapattanam is a busy place, and being near the water and the old booth makes it easy for us to manage our imports and exports. The office is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of folders full of shipping records. We don't go for any fancy interior design or anything like that. We just need a place to work and talk to the drivers. Most days involve a lot of coordination to make sure the goods are moving the way they should. It is not always smooth, as things happen with transport, but we just handle it. We are a small crew, so everyone does a bit of everything. You might find us on the phone or out back checking on a delivery. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on doing the work properly so people come back. It can get quite humid here, but we are used to the coastal air. We like being part of the local scene in Valapattanam. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just focus on the containers and the cargo. There is always something that needs to be loaded or unloaded. That’s just a normal day for us.
