We are located in Building No. 53, right near the post office in Mattannur, Uliyil. It’s a small town vibe here, and everyone pretty much knows everyone else. Our office is a straightforward space where we handle all the mercantile trade tasks. It isn't a modern office block; it's just a functional building that has been around for years. We deal with various goods and handle the logistics of moving them. There are only a few of us in the office, so things stay pretty informal. We don’t wear suits or have big boardrooms. We just sit at our desks and work through the orders. The proximity to the post office is handy for sending out documents. Sometimes the power goes out in Uliyil, and we have to wait a bit to get back to work, but that’s just life here. We’ve been in Building No. 53 for a long time. It feels like home to us now. Most of our day is spent talking to truck drivers and warehouse people. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure the numbers match up on the invoices. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. We just provide a place where trade can happen. If you come by, you’ll likely find us drinking tea and going through a stack of papers. It’s just how we run things every day.
