The Oberoi,Bangalore

Even though the name says The Oberoi, Bangalore, the real heart of where we come from is back home at Chelamarathinkal House. That is in Palavayal, near Cherupuzha in the Kasaragod district of Kerala. It is a long way from the city life in Bangalore. Down there in Kerala, things move a lot slower. The air is better and there are trees everywhere. We have this address listed because it is where our roots are. When we aren't dealing with the busy atmosphere in Bangalore, this is the place we think about. It is a bit of a journey to get there, taking the bus or the train through the hills. People in the village know the family name. We don't really have a big corporate setup at this address, it is just a family home. We handle some of our personal stuff from there. The pin code is 670 511, in case anyone is sending actual letters. It is funny how work takes you to a big city like Bangalore but your official papers still point back to a house in a quiet corner of Kerala. We like having that connection. It keeps us grounded while we are working away from home. There is no big office there, just a house where we grew up and where we still belong. We just keep things moving between these two worlds.
