Premaraj Driving School

You can find our office right opposite the Pilathara UP School. We operate out of the KPS Building, which is marked as CP-72. Being here in Kannur, we deal with all kinds of driving conditions, from the very narrow village lanes to the bigger main highway stretches. Learning how to drive is a big step for most people around here. We have a few cars that have seen a lot of use over the years, but they still work just fine for beginners who are still learning how to balance the clutch and the brake. Usually, people are quite nervous on their very first day, so we start off slow in an empty lot before we even think about heading out into the real traffic. We do not have a big office staff or anyone like that. It is mostly just us instructors and the cars. We spend most of our day sitting in the passenger seat, watching the road closely and making sure the student does not accidentally stall the engine in the middle of a turn. It is honest work. We help out with the paperwork for the licenses too, because all that can be very confusing if you have never done it before. The heavy rain here in Kerala makes driving a bit tricky sometimes, so we make sure to teach how to handle the wipers and the slippery roads. People from all over Pilathara come to see us.
