Nobel Travels

Nobel Travels is run by us out of Valathode in the Kannur district of Kerala. Our main spot is in Edapuzha, right at the Alahananickel house. Vinoj Mathew is the one who keeps everything organized here. It’s a very local business, very different from the big travel agencies you see in the cities. We’re surrounded by the greenery of Kerala, and it’s a quiet place to work. We spend our time helping people figure out their trips and booking tickets. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood or nearby villages who know us by name. We don't have a website with flashing lights or a big call center. It’s just us and a couple of phones and a computer. We know the roads and the train schedules around here pretty well. Sometimes people just stop by to ask about bus timings or to see if we can help with a passport application. We don't mind. It’s a small community and we like being a part of it. We don't make big promises we can't keep. If a flight is cancelled, we tell you. If a train is full, we look for another one. It’s honest work. The air is fresh here in Valathode, and even when work gets busy, it doesn't feel like the stressful city life. We just keep things moving for the travelers who need us.
