We are based at a house called Prayag in the Punnakulangara area of Kannur. It’s specifically in the P.O. Kanul area. It is very green around here, as you would expect for this part of Kerala. The address is just a family house where we handle our business matters. There isn’t a big sign on the gate. We mostly work in a room that overlooks the yard. You can hear the birds and sometimes the neighbors’ cows from the window. It is much quieter than being in a big city center. We don’t have fancy office chairs, just the ones we’ve had for years. It’s a very local way of doing things. When people come by, they usually sit on the porch for a bit first. We handle our paperwork and digital tasks between the usual daily chores of running a household. The rain in Kannur can be very heavy, so we often work to the sound of water hitting the roof. It’s a very peaceful environment for the most part. We don’t follow a strict corporate schedule. We just make sure the work gets done before the day is out. It’s a humble setup, but it suits us perfectly. We like being close to our roots while we stay busy with our projects. It feels more natural than a cubicle. Sometimes the neighbors drop by for a chat while we are in the middle of things.
