Our unit is located way up in Kerala, specifically in the Payyanur area of the Kannur district. We are set up near the Naval Academy, which is a pretty significant landmark around here. P. Sreenivasula Reddy is the one managing things at this particular site for Ivrcl Infrastructure And Project Limited. It is a different pace of life here compared to the big cities, but the work is just as demanding. We spend most of our time dealing with the specific needs of the projects we have going on at the Academy. The weather can be a real challenge, especially during the monsoon season when the rain just doesn't seem to stop. We have to plan everything around that. The office itself is more of a site office than a corporate headquarters. It’s functional and gets the job done. We have our maps, our safety gear, and a small team that knows the local terrain well. Working in Kannur means we are often dealing with local logistics and making sure materials get to the site on time despite the narrow roads. It’s a lot of hands-on management. We aren't here to make a big show of things; we are just here to build what needs to be built. Every day brings a new set of problems to solve, whether it's a delay in supplies or a technical issue on-site. We just keep moving and make sure the work stays on track until the end.
