Electrowatt Engineering Oman

Even though the company name is Electrowatt Engineering Oman, our local office is actually located in Kerala, at the Valappanandiyil House. We are in the Paral area, near Thalassery in the Kannur district. It’s a beautiful part of the world with lots of greenery and that coastal humid air. The office is part of a house, which is pretty common around here. We’ve got our workspace set up where we can handle the engineering designs and the project coordination. It’s a quiet neighborhood, mostly residential, so you hear the local birds and the occasional motorbike going by. Being in Thalassery, we’re never too far from good food, which is a bonus for the staff. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a fleet of company cars. It’s just a few of us working on computers and talking to clients on the phone. Sometimes the monsoon rains are so heavy we can hardly hear each other over the sound of the roof, but that’s just part of life in Kerala. We focus on the technical drawings and making sure all the math is right for the projects we’re working on. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy offices. We just provide the engineering work that’s needed and keep our records in order. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time now. That's the long and short of it.
