Classic Marbles

Classic Marbles is located in Pallikkunnu. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a fairly straightforward setup where we keep our marble and stone. There isn't much to the place other than the slabs themselves and the equipment we use to move them around. We spend a lot of time out in the yard, regardless of whether it's hot or raining. The marble can be quite slippery when it's wet, so we have to be careful when we're working. Most of our day is spent helping people look through the stacks to find a piece they like. We don't have any big sales pitches. We just show you what we have and let the stone speak for itself. Pallikkunnu is a decent area to work in, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the folks around here. It’s hard work, lifting and carrying, and our backs usually feel it by the evening. We keep the yard as tidy as we can, but with stone cutting and moving, there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just a local business that handles marble. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the weather gets in the way, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just us and the stone. We don't bother with anything too complicated or fancy here. We just like doing the work.
