Abees Net

Abees Net is located at 2/119B North Chetty Street in Parakkai, Nagercoil. It’s a small shop in a busy part of Tamilnadu where we handle all sorts of internet-related things. Most of the day is spent helping people who come in to use the computers or need help with some online forms. We have a few rows of desks with monitors and the constant hum of cooling fans. The internet connection can be a bit temperamental sometimes, especially when the weather is bad, so we spend a fair amount of time fiddling with routers and cables. It’s not a high-end tech hub, just a practical place for the local community to get online. North Chetty Street is usually quite noisy with scooters and people walking by, and some of that noise filters into the shop. We also do some printing and scanning for students and folks who don't have those machines at home. It’s a bit of a cramped space once a few people are inside, but we make it work. We’ve been here in Parakkai for a while, so we know most of our regular customers. They stop by for a chat while they wait for their downloads or prints. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to keep the computers running and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s simple work and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood without any fuss or trouble.
