Maya Devi Inter College

Maya Devi Inter College is over in Saraimira. It is a part of Kannauj that most people here are familiar with. The address is 209727 for those who need it. We have been operating out of this building for quite a while. It is an inter college, so we have the older students here as well as the younger ones. The halls are usually full of teenagers rushing to get to their next class before the bell rings. We keep the place running as best as we can every single day. It is not a shiny new building but it has character and a lot of history. You can see the main road clearly from our front entrance. Dealing with the paperwork takes up a lot of time in the small office. We have a few staff members who have been working here since the college first opened. People in Saraimira usually know us by name because we have been around so long. We do not really do much advertising or anything like that. The students come because they live close by and their siblings went here too. We try to keep the fans running during the summer because Kannauj gets very warm. The college is just a place where people come to learn and then head home. There is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a broken desk. We just take care of it. (250 words)
