Out here in Bithaur, things move a bit slower than in the middle of Kanpur city. Our college is located right in the 209202 area, and it's mostly quiet around the campus compared to the main roads. We deal with students who are looking to get into teaching, so they’re usually a bit more serious, but they still have their moments of fun between lectures. The building is simple and sits in a spot that feels quite open. There’s always someone carrying a stack of books or talking about their next lesson plan in the hallways. We don’t really go for anything flashy here. It’s more about the lectures and the practical work that needs doing. Sometimes the commute from the main city can be a bit of a trek for some, but once you’re here, it’s a decent environment for focusing on work. The staff rooms are usually cluttered with papers, old files, and tea mugs, which is pretty standard for us. We spend a lot of time discussing how to handle different classroom situations. It isn’t always perfect, and sometimes the fans in the old classrooms make too much noise, but we make do. It’s a place where people come to learn a trade that’s actually useful. We see a lot of faces pass through these doors, all trying to figure out their future in the education world. It's a long process, but we just keep at it every single day.
