Vsr Travels is based in Sholinganallur, specifically at 18, Padavattamman Koil 2nd Street. We are pretty close to the Infosys campus on OMR, so we see a lot of the IT crowd around here. Besides just renting out cars, we also provide acting drivers for people who have their own vehicle but don’t want to deal with the Chennai traffic themselves. It’s a handy service, especially after a long day at the office. The street we are on is a bit of a local landmark with the temple nearby. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while now. We don't have any fancy brochures or a glossy office. It’s just a practical space where we manage the drivers and take bookings. The OMR area is always busy, so we have to stay on our toes to make sure everyone gets their driver on time. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing, and other times it’s a bit quieter. We just take it as it comes. Our drivers know the city well and they’re used to the long hours. We aren't a giant corporation, just a local business trying to provide a useful service for the folks living and working in Sholinganallur.
