Thakshini Earth Movers

Thakshini Earth Movers is out in Meerpur Village, specifically at No:12. It’s part of the Madurantakam Taluk. We are a small local operation and we’ve been around the village for a long time. Our work mostly involves earth moving with the few machines we own. You can usually find us either at our small yard or out on a local plot of land where someone is starting a new building. The machines are old but we take good care of them, spending our weekends greasing the joints and checking the engines. It’s a noisy and dirty job, but it’s what we know how to do. Meerpur is a quiet place for the most part, so the sound of our equipment really carries across the fields. We don't have a website or a big office with staff. If someone needs a job done, they usually just walk over to the house or find us in the village and we talk about it. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes the ground is too hard or too muddy to work, so we have to wait for the right weather. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the land around Madurantakam pretty well. It’s just us, the machines, and a lot of dirt every single day. We’re happy to be a part of the growth in our little village.
