Porur Metal Works

We are located over at No. S- 192 in Balambigai Nagar. Most folks know the area because it is quite close to Valasarawakkam. If you are coming down Arcot Road, you will find us near the Rathna Complex in Ramapuram. Porur Metal Works isn't a fancy place by any means. It is a workshop where we spend our days cutting, bending, and welding metal. There is usually a lot of noise from the grinders and the smell of hot steel in the air. We have been here for a good while now. Our team is small, just a few of us who know how to handle the machinery. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and find us working on whatever order is next on the list. Some days we are dealing with heavy iron rods, and other days it is smaller sheet metal work. It gets pretty dusty, and my clothes are usually stained with oil by noon. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the pieces fit together like they should. Ramapuram is a busy spot, so there are always people and trucks moving around outside. We just keep the shutters open and get on with the job. It is simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the evening. We don't do anything flashy here, just metal work for the local area.
