Narasimma Pallavan Polytechnic College

This polytechnic college is located in Kancheepuram, and it has been here for quite a while. The address is a bit long, but we are easy enough to find if you are in the area. The buildings are older and spread out a bit. We have different sections for things like mechanical and electrical work. It’s a very practical environment. You’ll see students in their uniforms working with machines or sitting in the classrooms. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning everywhere; it’s more about getting the work done. We spend a lot of time managing the labs and making sure the tools are in good shape. The staff here are mostly people who have been in the technical field for a long time. We have a canteen that serves basic food, and the students usually hang out there between their classes. It’s a busy place during the week. We have to deal with a lot of administrative stuff, like keeping track of attendance and organizing the practical exams. It’s a lot of coordination between the teachers and the office. We don't have any polished marketing or anything like that. Most of our students come from the surrounding districts because they want a diploma to start working. It’s a straightforward school with a focus on technical skills. We just keep the gates open and the workshops running like we have for years.
