You can find us over at 46, Vaishnavi Nagar in Thirumullaivoyal. It is a bit of a hidden spot if you aren't looking for it. We mostly deal with drones here. It isn't like a normal school where you see kids with backpacks. Instead, we have people of all ages coming in to learn how to fly these machines. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we have to be careful about where we fly and how much noise we make. We have a workshop where we keep the equipment and some spare parts for when things go wrong, which happens more often than you would think. Learning to fly a UAV takes some patience. We spend a lot of time sitting at tables looking at manuals or practicing on simulators before we even go outside. The wind can be a problem some days, so we have to check the weather constantly. If it is too gusty, we just stay inside and talk about the technical side of things. It is a small team here. We do everything from answering the phones to charging the batteries. We don't have any shiny brochures or big signs. Usually, people find out about us by word of mouth or by seeing the drones in the air. It is interesting work, even if it is just a small operation in a quiet part of town. We just like what we do and try to help people learn the ropes.
