Centre For Indian Knowledge System.

We are based out of Shanthi Nagar, specifically at 503/3 on Ozhalur Road. This is in the Vedhanarayanapuram part of Venpakkam. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which is quite nice for the kind of work we do at the Centre For Indian Knowledge System. We spend a lot of time with books, documents, and talking to local folks. The office is pretty simple, with plenty of shelves for our research materials. It's not a corporate setup at all. Usually, there are a few of us sitting around a table discussing projects or looking through old records. The road outside isn't too busy, so it stays relatively quiet most of the day. We have some plants around the entrance that we try to keep alive. The work we do is slow and steady. We don't have big targets or high-pressure meetings. It’s more about understanding things and documenting what we find. Sometimes people visit us to ask about traditional methods or history, and we just share what we know. It feels more like a community center than a formal office. We take our time with things. The building itself is older, but it serves our purpose well. It’s a place where we feel at home and can focus on the tasks at hand without much distraction. Most of our days are just filled with reading and taking notes for the future.
