Hotel Arunachala

We've been here at Hotel Arunachala for a while now, right on Parthasarathy Street in Muthamiz Nagar. If you know the Pammal area, you probably know where the Sub Register Office is. We are literally right across from it. It's a busy spot during the day because of all the paperwork people have to do over there. Sometimes they just need a place to sit down and eat something before heading back out. We started this place because we saw how many people were coming into this part of town and needing a quick meal. It isn’t a fancy place with lots of decorations or anything like that. We just have tables and chairs and we serve the food we know how to make. The staff here are mostly local folks who live nearby. We open up early in the morning because the street gets busy pretty fast. Most of our regulars are people who work in the offices around here or neighbors living in the Muthamiz Nagar streets. It gets a bit loud when the traffic picks up outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of Pammal. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they are passing by or they've heard about us from someone else. It is just a simple setup where you can get your food and carry on with your day. We try to keep things clean and keep the kitchen moving.
