Arunachala Hotel

We’ve been running the Arunachala Hotel on Parthasarathy Street in Pammal for quite some time now. It’s located at No 1, so we are right at the start of the street. Pammal is a busy residential area, and we mostly see folks who live nearby or are visiting family in the 600075 zip code. This isn't a fancy hotel with room service or a swimming pool. It’s a straightforward place to get some sleep. We keep the rooms tidy and make sure the fans and lights are working. That is really what people are looking for when they come here. My brother and I handle most of the daily chores, from checking people in to making sure the water is running fine. It’s a lot of small tasks that fill up the day. The street can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a bit of a puzzle, but we manage. We don't have a big website or a social media page because we prefer just talking to people face to face. It feels more natural that way. We aren't looking to grow into a big chain; we just want to keep this one spot going well for the community.
