Gunasekar Stores

Gunasekar Stores is right on No 92, Pammal Main Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road in Pammal, and we are right near the CSI Church. You can hear the church bells sometimes when it’s not too noisy with the buses going past. Being on the main road means there is always something happening. We spend most of our day behind the counter or moving stock around from the back room. The shop is a bit tight when it gets crowded in the evenings, but we manage. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just running a regular store for the people who live around Pammal. It’s a lot of repeating the same tasks every day, like checking the dates on items and talking to the regulars who stop in for a few things on their way home. The floors get dirty pretty fast with everyone coming in, so there is a lot of sweeping involved. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if it gets a bit stressful when the delivery trucks arrive and block the entrance for a few minutes. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it’s a bit of a mess during the rush. That’s just the way it goes at Gunasekar Stores. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. We just try to get through the day one customer at a time and keep things moving.
