Excel Glass Fibre Industries [P] Ltd.

Our place is located at 42, Industrial Estate in Perungudi. It is an industrial area, so it is mostly warehouses and factories around us. We work with glass fibre here, which is a bit of a messy process. The air usually has that specific smell of resin and materials. We have been operating out of this spot for a long time. There are big machines and lots of raw materials stacked up in the corners. It is not a clean or quiet environment like an office. We spend most of our shift on the floor making sure things are being made right. The workers wear heavy gloves because the glass fibre can be itchy if it touches your skin. We move a lot of heavy boxes and drums around with the small forklift. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going. Most of our day is spent checking the output and making sure the equipment is running without any hiccups. We are just a group of people doing a technical job in a busy industrial zone. People from other units nearby often stop by to chat. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. It is just a working factory where we focus on getting the daily production done. The trucks come in and out all day long. We keep the doors open for ventilation even when it rains.
