Annai Agro Farms

We operate out of units 136 and 139 on Old Mahabalipuram Road in Karapakkam. Annai Agro Farms is more of a practical place than a corporate office. Since we are involved with agro products, there’s usually a bit of dirt and a lot of activity happening around the site. The area has changed so much with all the IT parks coming up, but we are still here doing our thing with the land and the crops. It’s a bit of a mix of the old and the new around here. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the weather and the seasonal changes that affect what we can grow or move. It’s not an easy life, but it’s what we know. The sun can be quite brutal out here on OMR, so we start our days very early to get the bulk of the work done before it gets too hot. Our crew is local, and we’ve all grown up around these parts. We don't use any fancy management techniques; we just talk to each other and get the crates loaded. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the heavy OMR traffic, which is frustrating, but we’ve learned to plan around it. We keep our tools and equipment at the Karapakkam site and try to maintain everything ourselves. It’s just a straightforward farming and supply business, really. No frills, just hard work and hoping for a good harvest every year.
