SRBK CEMENT INDUSTRIES LLP

Our small office for SRBK Cement Industries LLP is located at Nirvana Enclave in the Basisthapur area. It’s Flat No. 1C, which gives it more of a residential feel than a big industrial site. We handle the administrative and sales side of the cement business from here. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads of Guwahati, which is a nice change of pace. Inside, you’ll find a few desks, a laptop or two, and usually a few half-empty packets of biscuits. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the plants and the distributors, making sure the cement bags are going where they are supposed to go. Cement is a tough business because it’s heavy and the margins are thin, so we have to be careful with the numbers. There’s a small balcony where we sometimes step out to get some air when the office feels a bit cramped with all the files. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything that screams "corporate headquarters." It’s just a practical space for a local business to run its operations. Most of our days are spent checking inventory levels and worrying about the rain, since moisture is the enemy of what we sell. We’ve grown used to the quiet rhythm of Basisthapur. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us, and we manage to keep the trucks moving and the orders filled for the builders who need them.
