Srinath Construction Merchant Co. Pvt. Ltd. is based on the 5th floor of Anil Plaza, right there on G.S. Road in the Abc area. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, though mostly we are just looking at the heavy traffic below. G.S. Road is always moving, and our office is just as busy most days. We are merchants, so we deal with a lot of construction materials and the logistics of getting them where they need to go. The office is filled with samples of tiles, bricks, and brochures from different suppliers we work with. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, with stacks of invoices and delivery notes scattered everywhere. We have a small team here, and everyone is usually talking on the phone or typing away on an old computer. We have been in Anil Plaza for a while now, and even the security guards know us by name. Dealing with construction supplies is a tough business because prices change every week and deliveries often get stuck in traffic. We do not pretend it is easy. We just try to keep our heads down and get the orders filled for our clients. People come up here to negotiate prices or check on their shipments.
