Shantanu Tea

Shantanu Tea is based in Village Digarumukh. We are at the post in Digarumukh, which is part of the Dispur taluka. It is a quiet place compared to the main city. We spend our days working with the tea we get from the local area. It is a small business and we don't have many employees. Usually, it is just us and a few helpers from the village. The work is mostly manual. We have to carry big bags of tea and make sure they are stored in a dry place. The weather here in Assam can be very wet, so we are always checking for leaks in the roof. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy offices. We just do the work that needs to be done. The road to our place can be a bit rough, especially after the rain, but we are used to it. We have been in Digarumukh for quite a long time now. Everyone in the village knows where we are. We don't make any grand claims about our tea. We just try to be fair and do a good job every day. The morning air always smells like tea and damp earth. It’s a slow life, but it’s what we know. We open up the shed early and stay until the work is finished. It’s just a basic tea business run by local people who care about their work.
