It’s an apartment-style setup which makes the work feel a bit more relaxed than a typical corporate building. We handle a lot of the management side of things for tea and agro products right from these rooms. The building itself is called Manikanchan, and it’s a well-known spot on Mother Teresa Road. On most days, you’ll find us surrounded by folders and maps of different estates. There’s usually a faint smell of tea leaves in the air when we have samples sitting out on the tables. It’s a quiet enough place to work, though the traffic on Mother Teresa Road can get quite noisy during the morning rush. We have some old wooden desks that have been with us for years. The windows look out onto the street, so we spend a bit of time watching the world go by when things aren't too busy. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the agro management tasks that need doing every day. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve all been working together for quite a while. We just take things as they come and try to keep the paperwork in order. It’s a decent place to spend the day and the location on Mother Teresa Road is convenient for us to get to.
