Cx Cafe Xtreme

Our little spot, Cx Cafe Xtreme, is right on the Beltola Basistha Road. If you know the A G Bus Stop, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. We are tucked away in a busy corner of Guwahati where there is always something going on outside. The sound of buses pulling in and people shouting for rides is basically the background music for our day. We started this cafe because we wanted a place where someone could just sit for a bit and grab a bite or a drink. It’s not one of those polished, quiet cafes you see in movies. It’s a real place with some crumbs on the counter and chairs that might creak a little when you sit down. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or behind the counter, making whatever folks order. Some days are slow and we just watch the rain, and other days we can barely keep up with the crowd coming from the bus stop. We don’t have a massive menu, just things we know how to make well. The walls have a few posters, and the lighting is okay, nothing too special. We just like the fact that we’re part of the neighborhood. People stop in while waiting for their bus, or they come by after work to kill some time. It’s just a regular cafe for regular people living their lives in Guwahati.
