Milan Food Products

Our place is located on Muchi Ram Kachari Path, right in the Datalpara area. If you know where the Datalpara High School is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a local neighborhood, so things are usually a bit quieter than the main city centers, but we stay busy enough. We handle various food products here every day. The smell of whatever we are packing usually fills the air around the shop. It’s a simple setup. We have a few rooms for storage and a space where we do all the manual work. We don’t have many machines, so a lot of it is done by hand. The staff usually arrives early to beat the heat. We get a lot of locals walking by, especially when the school lets out and the kids are making noise in the street. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who live around this path. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, which slows us down, but we just deal with it. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s a working space. We keep the doors open mostly to let the breeze through. We just focus on getting the bags filled and the orders out to the local shops that buy from us. It’s steady work and we like the neighborhood we’re in. It gets a bit messy during the monsoon, but we manage.
