Assam Tea Traders

We operate out of Hangerga village. It’s a quiet spot, right near the Hanuman Mandir. Everyone knows where the temple is, so it makes it easy to find us. We deal with tea from Assam and bring it here to the village. The building we use isn't much to look at, but it works for what we need. Most of our days are spent weighing bags and talking to people who come by to check what we have. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the tea is handled properly before it goes out. Living and working near Hanuman Mandir is nice because it’s a central point for the community. You can hear the bells from the temple while we work. We’ve stayed in Hangerga because it’s where we started. Sometimes the roads get a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is around here. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just trade tea and try to keep our customers happy. If you come looking for Assam Tea Traders, just ask anyone in the village for the place near the temple. They’ll point you the right way. We’ve got stacks of sacks inside and it always smells like dry tea leaves. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
