Late Tanhabai Zindure English School

This school is located right on National Highway 40 in the Sawkuchi area of Guwahati. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of movement and noise from the trucks and cars passing by. We have a gate that stays shut during school hours to keep the kids safe from the traffic. It is an English medium school, and we have students from all over the Sawkuchi neighborhood. The building is a simple structure that has seen a lot of use over the seasons. Inside, you’ll find the usual classrooms with wooden desks and benches. We have some space for the kids to sit during their lunch break, though it isn't huge. The teachers are busy from the morning until the final bell rings in the afternoon. We mostly focus on the basic subjects and making sure the students are comfortable speaking and writing in English. It’s a lot of work, but we just take it day by day. Parents often stop by the office to check on their children's progress or to pay the fees. We know most of the families around here because their kids have been coming to us for years. The name of the school is a tribute, and we try to keep things running in a way that respects that history without making a big fuss about it.
