Concrete Junction

We’ve got a small shop, number one, in Shree Kripa Colony on Karnik Road in Kalyan West. We’re right across from Shrey Palace, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. The shop isn't huge, but it serves our purpose for managing orders and talking to customers. Since we’re on Karnik Road, there’s always people walking by and cars honking. We handle a lot of different concrete-related needs for people in the neighborhood and nearby areas. Most mornings involve opening up the shutters and sweeping out the dust from the previous day. It’s a simple operation where we keep track of who needs what and when. We aren't a big chain store; it’s just a local business where you deal with the same couple of people every time you walk in. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Kalyan traffic, and we have to spend time on the phone figuring out where the driver is. We don't have a lot of glossy brochures or a marketing department. We just have our samples and our knowledge of the materials. It’s a practical way to spend the day, helping people get the right stuff for their construction projects. Most of our business comes from word of mouth around the colony. We just try to be helpful and keep things running as smoothly as possible given the circumstances. It is a humble shop but we stay busy.
