Chandan Traders

You can find Chandan Traders over at Plot No. 56 on Goriwadi Lane. We are tucked in near Kalakar Street, which is a place that’s always got a lot of activity. Our trading business is pretty small, but we keep ourselves busy from morning until evening. The lane can be a bit narrow, so getting big deliveries in and out sometimes takes a little bit of patience and maneuvering. We handle all sorts of goods, depending on what the market is looking for at the time. It’s not a fancy setup with a lot of staff. Usually, it’s just a couple of us handling the orders and making sure the inventory is where it should be. We’ve spent a lot of time getting to know the other traders around Goriwadi Lane. It feels like a real community here. We don’t have a big website or a lot of brochures. We just talk to people who come by and try to be helpful. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit difficult, and we have to move everything inside quickly, but that’s just part of life here. We just focus on the work and try to keep things organized in our own way. It’s a lot of checking lists and talking to suppliers on the phone. We enjoy being in this part of town and just plan to keep doing what we’re doing, one day at a time, at our little spot on the lane. It is honest work.
