Our place, Liquipack Systems Pvt. Ltd., is out on Plot No. 6A/7 along the Santej-Vadsar Road. If you are coming from the main city, it feels like a bit of a trek into the industrial heart of Village Santej. The road gets quite dusty when the heavy trucks rumble past our gate. We are located in the Kalol Taluka within the Gandhinagar district. It’s a hot area in the summer months, so we keep the big fans running in the assembly shed all day long. We mostly work on machines that fill up bottles and pack liquids. It is a lot of metalwork and testing for drips or spills. We aren't some big corporate office with glass walls. Our office is just a small room at the front with a couple of chairs and a filing cabinet that sticks sometimes. The workers mostly live nearby and we’ve known many of them for a long time. We have a routine here that starts early before the sun gets too high. There is always a lot of noise from the welding and the testing lines, but you get used to it. We don't do much advertising because most people find us through word of mouth around the industrial estate. It’s just us making sure the packaging machines work like they are supposed to. We focus on the hardware and don't care much for the fancy stuff.
