Sheetal Industries is out at No. 114 in Shivam Estate, Phase 2, within the G.I.D.C. area of Gandhinagar. We are located near Mahakali Temple Road, so you can often hear the faint sounds from that direction when the wind is right. The estate itself is pretty standard for this part of Gujarat. It’s a lot of concrete, trucks moving in and out, and the sound of industry all day long. Our particular building is just a functional unit where we get our daily tasks done. We don’t have any plush furniture or air-conditioned lobbies. It’s more about the workbenches and the storage racks. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so it can get a bit warm inside, but we’re used to it. We keep a regular schedule, starting early and finishing up as the sun goes down. Most of the people working here have their own routines, and we don’t really need much direction anymore. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy facade. We just focus on what’s on the floor that day. There’s always a bit of a rush to get things loaded onto the trucks before the gates at Shivam Estate get too crowded. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we just keep our heads down and do what is required of us.
