You can find Caladium Pharmaceuticals at Plot No. 1/12 in the GIDC Estate. The GIDC is a massive area filled with all kinds of industries, and we are just one small part of it. Our plot is basically a large shed with some office space partitioned off at the front. It’s an environment of metal, concrete, and heavy doors. The roads inside the estate are often bumpy and filled with large trucks delivering raw materials or picking up finished goods. There isn't much in the way of scenery here, just rows and rows of similar-looking buildings. We spend our days managing the production and keeping track of the inventory. It gets quite loud in the estate during peak hours, with all the machinery running in the neighboring units. Our own workspace is functional and a bit cramped with all the supplies we have to keep on hand. We usually eat our lunch at our desks or out on the small porch area if the weather isn't too hot. The dust from the industrial activity is something we’ve just learned to live with. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any awards on the wall. It’s just a place where we come to work and do our jobs. Most of the people here have been working in the GIDC for years and know the rhythms of the place. It’s a hard-working atmosphere without any fluff.
