Gulkas Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 914 in the GIDC Estate. We’re in the business of making pharma products, but don't expect a hospital-clean office with guys in suits. We spend most of our time in the production area making sure the equipment is clean and the batches are moving. It’s a lot of following the same steps every single day. We have to be careful about the details, obviously, but we’re still just local folks working in a shed like everyone else in GIDC. The paperwork is probably the most boring part of the job, but we have to do it. We’ve got a small team and everyone knows their role. Some of us have been here since the beginning. Plot 914 isn't hard to find if you’re looking for it. The trucks come in the morning to drop off raw materials and we spend the rest of the day processing them. We don't really do much advertising. We just focus on the stuff we’re making and try to stay on schedule. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to wait for a technician to come out from the city, which slows us down. But mostly, we just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a steady job and we’re glad to be part of the industrial community here. We usually close up early on Saturdays to get some rest.
