Sri Venkatrama Rice Mill

We've been operating the mill here on BB Road for quite a while now. The building is at 65-11-75, and you can usually hear the machines running from early morning. It’s a dusty place, honestly, but that’s just how rice mills are. We spend most of our time dealing with local farmers bringing in their crops and making sure the grain gets processed right. There isn't much fancy about what we do. It’s just work. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, or a machine breaks down, but we just fix it and keep going. People from around the neighborhood know where to find us. We don’t have a big office or anything like that, just the mill floor and a small space to sit. If you walk down the road, you’ll see the bags stacked up near the entrance. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know the routine pretty well by now. It’s noisy and busy, especially during the harvest season when everyone is in a hurry. We just focus on getting the rice cleaned and packed so it can go out. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t do much advertising because most folks around here already know the address. We just stay busy with the day-to-day tasks and try to keep up with the demand. That’s pretty much the story of our little mill on Bb Road.
