Godavari Roller Flour Mills (P) Ltd.

Our mill, Godavari Roller Flour Mills (P) Ltd., is located at B-1 and B-2 in the local Industrial Estate. It’s a big space because we need the room for the machinery and the grain sacks. We spend most of our time keeping the rollers going and making sure the flour comes out the way it’s supposed to. Being in the industrial area means it gets pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just how flour milling is. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and others who watch the machines. It's regular work, starting early when the trucks arrive with the raw wheat. We don't spend much time in an office; most of the day is spent out on the floor. The machinery is older but it does the job just fine if you take care of it. Sometimes parts break and we have to fix them ourselves. We supply to local shops and some bigger places too. You can smell the grain as soon as you pull into our part of the estate. It’s a practical business. We don’t have a website or anything flashy. People who need flour know where to find us. We just focus on getting the milling done and keeping the sacks moving out the door every afternoon before the sun goes down. There is always a lot to do before we close up.
