Sri Venkateswara Rice Industry

Our place is at Door 3-209 in Gollapuram. It’s near Pithapuram, so it’s easy to find if you’re coming from that direction. Sri Venkateswara Rice Industry has been processing grain here for quite some time. The facility isn't very large, but it does what it needs to do. We spend most of our hours watching the mills and making sure the bags are filled correctly. There is a lot of dust sometimes, which is just part of the job when you work with rice. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the work done and go home to our families. Some days are busier than others, especially during harvest time when the trucks come in one after another. We keep the machines running and try to fix them ourselves when they act up. It saves time and money. The area around Gollapuram is mostly quiet except for the sound of the equipment here. We have a small crew of local workers who have been with us for years. They know the routine better than anyone. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us through word of mouth or see the sign when they drive past. It’s a simple business. We focus on the rice and the bags. Nothing more to it really. We just keep our heads down and work. It's how we've always operated here for years.
