Our place is out on the Kakinada to Yanam Road, right beside the Maha Laxmi Temple in Matlapalem. It is a good spot because everyone knows the temple, so we never have to give complicated directions. We deal with farm stuff, which means our boots are usually a bit muddy. The work depends a lot on the weather and the season. If it’s raining too much, everything slows down. If it’s too dry, we worry about the plants. We have some sheds and a bit of land where we keep our equipment and products. It is mostly outdoor work, which is why we all have tan lines. We aren't a big corporate farm with suits and ties. We are just people who know about soil and crops. Sometimes the road gets busy with trucks, and the dust settles on everything in the office. We just wipe it off and keep going. We've had this business for a while, and the neighbors are all like family. We help each other out when a machine breaks down or when extra hands are needed for a big load. It’s not easy work, and the hours are long, especially in the summer. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. If the crops are good and the customers are happy, that’s all we need. We just focus on what’s right in front of us every day and keep at it.
