Shri Krishna Public School

Shri Krishna Public School is out in Bhevra, which is part of the Deohra area in Kaithal. It is a rural setting, so things are a bit slower here than in the big cities. We serve the local families from the surrounding villages. Most of the kids walk or take a short ride to get here. We have a simple building that we try to keep tidy. It’s a lot of manual work, from sweeping the floors to making sure the water pump is working right. Being in Kaithal, we see the seasons change across the fields nearby. It gets very cold in the winter and quite dusty in the summer. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a few of us running the show. We know most of the parents by name because it’s a small community. Every morning we open the gates and wait for the students to arrive. There is always something that needs fixing, like a desk or a window latch. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a plain public school for the kids in Bhevra and Deohra. We don't put on any acts. We just show up, do the teaching, and go home when the sun starts to set. It’s a honest way to spend the day.
