Sagar Foods

It’s pretty loud here in the G.I.D.C. Estate most days. You’ve got trucks pulling in and out constantly, and the sound of machines from the neighbors never really stops. Sagar Foods has been in this spot for some time. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect anything too pretty. We spend most of our time dealing with the food supplies and making sure everything is moving like it should. The office is small and tucked into one corner of the unit. There’s always a bit of dust in the air from the road outside, and in the summer, it gets incredibly hot under the roof. We usually keep a few big fans going just to keep the air moving. Lunch is usually eaten quick so we can get back to the floor. It’s a lot of manual work, checking bags and looking at labels. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we all just sit outside on the steps and wait. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so we’re all pretty close. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. Just a few of us trying to keep things running smooth in the middle of a busy estate. The smell of the food processing is just something you get used to after the first week. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting things out on time.
