Purab Computers

Purab Computers is located at 206 Prachi, right near the SBI Bank. It’s a convenient little spot because most people know where the bank is, so we are easy to find. We’ve been in this building for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The shop is on the second floor, and it’s usually filled with the sound of cooling fans and the smell of solder. We do a lot of hardware repair here. People bring in their computers when they stop working, and we do our best to get them going again. We don't have a huge showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly worktables and boxes of spare parts. It’s a very hands-on business. We like the fact that we are near the bank because it brings people into the area. We aren't corporate people, just a few folks who know how to fix things. We talk to our customers like they are our neighbors, which most of them are. If a repair is going to take a long time, we just say so. We don't try to sugarcoat things. It’s an honest way to work, and people seem to appreciate that. Prachi is a good location for us. We've got enough space to work and plenty of light from the windows. We’re just here every day, sitting at our desks and fixing whatever comes through the door.
